Bio
Luis Hurtado is a Designer / Animator living in Los Angeles, CA. with over 10 years of experience in Web Design, 2D / 3D Animation & Video Game Development.
Hurtado began his career in Video Game Development, designing Menu Interface Graphics & Web Design at Pandemic Studios.
He then moved on to work at the G4 Cable-Network as a Web-Designer, designing the network websites for G4tv amongst other projects.
Hurtado then switched to Broadcast Design, while working on G4tv’s, “Attack of the Show.” He was in charge of producing the show’s day to day creative deliverables as well as coming up with the shows animated segment headers and character animation segments.
Recently, he headed G4tv’s New Media Design group. responsible for art-directing G4’s New Media properties, ranging from web design to show graphics packages for exclusive web-video content.
Currently, he is a freelance designer / animator, with experience in video game development, user-interaction design, motion graphics, new media & TV production.
